Dr. Michael Glüer is a scientist and lecturer at the department of developmental psychology & psychopathology at the University of Bielefeld in Germany. He is working interdisciplinary in the field of developmental psychology and early childhood education. He is specialist in observation, developing of observational tools, and the analysis of observational data with video data analysis software. His research topic in early childhood education and developmental psychology are attachment and relationship quality, early childhood intervention and child development in social online networks.  He graduated in 2006 in educational science and early childhood studies at the Freie Universität of Berlin with honour. From 2003-2004 he studied psychology at University of Roehampton, London. In 2012 he finished his Ph.D. at the Freie Universität of Berlin with the topic relationship quality and cooperation in kindergarten and school. Since 2012 he is working at the University of Bielefeld.
