Pagona Gkoutroumanidou is a School Adviser of the 17th Preschool Prefecture of Serres. She is a Ph.D. Candidate at the Department of Primary Education of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and she holds a MSc from the same Department. She also holds a Bachelor Degree, an Equalization Diploma and a Diploma of Tutor’s Further Education School (Didaskalion) from theSchool of Early Childhood Education of the Faculty of Education of AUTH. She has been working as a preschool headmistress for the last 25 years and as a trainer at the 2nd P.E.C for the last 5 years. She has participated in Greek and international conferences and has published research papers regarding several early childhood topics, mainly on literacy development and assessment in pre-primary education. She is a member of EARLI Special Interest Group on Writing
